 Chinese Democracy
have any of you gotten it yet? i think it is a good album, not traditional guns n' roses, but good non the less. The tracks that Buckethead is on, the song writing credits are to "carroll", which i found interesting. i didn't think he'd do that. but whatever.
Here is his "thanks" section:
Buckethead would like to thank: my family and friends, Tom and Nancy Carroll, and Stan Diamond, for their support. Axl and the Guns n' Roses family for the opportunity. Lastly, thanks to Giant Robot.
and here's Brain's section:
Brain would like to thank: Christ, Viagra, and The Right To Choose
what do you think of the album? (if you have it)

 Re: Chinese Democracy
I was not going to purchase this release as I thought Axel recorded over Bucketheads stuff, since he has been gone so long. When I heard Bucket was on every song but two, I got it. I love the cd. Not just because Buckethead is on it. I really love what they all created. I don't know about waiting 17 yrs for it, but I love it for what it is.

Or do you think that the 2nd thanks is from Bryan Mantia, the drummer? Mr_Rave wrote: what do you think of the album? (if you have it) I think I will get the album sometime this or next week. Not a big fan of G'n'Rs actually. Well they do indeed have a couple of (very) good songs, but on a long listening section Axl's high-pitched voice gives me a headache. For real.

Believe me, Im not the biggest GNR fan either, But I think you will enjoy the cd more than you think you will. I did. To be honest, it was the first GNR cd I had ever owned.

 Re: Chinese Democracy
I like this album, I am also glad axl did not get the highlight comeback album he wanted, Because there is something very scary about hearing buckethead's sound on a mainstream radio. Right now i don't think we will have to worry about axl anytime soon, Cause he is being a big cry baby check this out lol http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/ju ... s-axl-rose

 Re: Chinese Democracy
Well in a way it sucks that axl is being such a bitch about not toping the charts, Cause he still has alot of new stuff with buckethead on it, That we may never get to hear, Seeing how he is disowning the album & don't want to have anything to do with it knowing that crazy fucker he might permanently destroy any leftovers from Chinese Democracy. Really i don't know why most gnr fans hate this album so much, I used to really be into them back in the day when i was a teen & i would have to say Chinese Democracy is way better then any of the older albums, And buckethead really stood out (With looks & Playing solos better then slash)
